TVK leader Vijay has chosen to forgo the use of official convoy vehicles assigned to him as Tamil Nadu's chief minister-elect. According to the party, Vijay intends to wait until his official swearing-in to accept such honors.
Following the recently concluded Assembly elections, in which the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam gained 108 seats, Vijay's decision underscores a commitment to protocol and decorum, despite heightened security around his Panaiyur residence.
Police confirmed that all convoy vehicles had been returned as per Vijay's request. Meanwhile, security arrangements proceed for the upcoming swearing-in ceremony, marking the official transition of power.
