The shocking murder of Chandranath Rath, an aide to Suvendu Adhikari, has intensified political tensions in West Bengal. The BJP has claimed the incident exemplifies a breakdown in law and order under the Trinamool Congress (TMC), which has governed for 15 years. Conversely, the TMC has dismissed these claims, urging for a thorough investigation.
