In the wake of Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, speculation swirled around potential collaborations among political parties. However, Senior AIADMK leader S Semmalai has put an end to rumors of a meeting between his party's general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami and Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.
Amidst reports suggesting that Palaniswami might discuss forming a government with the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), Semmalai clarified there is currently no plan to meet the governor. The TVK, a single largest party with 108 seats, is making efforts to form its first government with the support of other parties.
AIADMK, despite being approached by various channels, has not received an official invitation from TVK. Semmalai noted that any decision on extending support to TVK will rest solely with Palaniswami, emphasizing his leader's pivotal role in the ongoing political landscape.
