Key Political Dynamics: Thirumavalavan and TVK's Quest for Governance
VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan announced that his party's high-level committee is deliberating on whether to support Vijay's TVK in forming the government. Despite TVK securing 108 seats, they still need more to reach the majority mark. The governor's invitation to form the government remains pending.

In a recent political development, VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan indicated that his party is contemplating whether to offer support to TVK, led by Vijay, in their attempt to form the government. The decision rests with VCK's high-level committee, following a formal request from TVK.
Thirumavalavan highlighted that TVK, despite winning 108 out of 234 seats, still falls short of the 118 needed for a majority. The Congress party's support, with its five MLAs, remains insufficient for TVK to assume power independently.
Calling upon the governor to facilitate the formation process, Thirumavalavan emphasized that TVK's right to form the government is backed by constitutional provisions and the electorate's choice. A majority, he noted, need only be demonstrated within the assembly itself after forming the government.
