On Thursday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a meeting with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where they discussed a range of pressing regional and global issues, including the escalating situation in Ukraine and developments in West Asia.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed India's staunch advocacy for dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred solutions for international conflicts.
The interaction also included an update from Lavrov on the advancements in bilateral cooperation following his last meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Modi extended warm regards to President Putin through Lavrov, who is attending the BRICS Foreign Ministers' meeting.
