Occurring on the sidelines of the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Delhi, Jaishankar spoke with Egypt's Badr Abdelatty and Thailand's Sihasak Phuangketkeow. The conversations emphasized cooperation in trade, maritime, and defense, and considered the geopolitical scenario in West Asia and Myanmar.
Jaishankar urged BRICS nations to collaboratively tackle geopolitical and trade challenges. He highlighted dialogue's critical role in resolving conflicts, especially amidst the West Asia crisis affecting energy supplies due to ongoing tensions involving the US, Israel, and Iran.
