Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called on citizens to stand united with Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidst the fuel crisis exacerbated by the conflict in West Asia. Addressing a welfare project event in Maharajganj, he highlighted the need to prioritize national interest over opposition narratives.
Emphasizing fiscal prudence, Adityanath noted the government's substantial financial losses due to reduced oil supplies. He stressed the importance of conserving resources and urged farmers to adapt to challenges by using available local resources to mitigate shortages.
The Chief Minister also appealed to jewellers and traders to focus on domestic gold remodelling, aligning with Modi's broader economic appeal for reduced foreign exchange spending. Modi further advocated for energy conservation, suggesting public transportation and postponement of non-essential foreign travel.
