The new Kerala government is gearing up for a significant event as the entire Cabinet is set to be sworn in on Monday. This development was confirmed by UDF convenor Adoor Prakash on Friday, following a strategic meeting of UDF allies, including the Congress and the Indian Union Muslim League, in Thiruvananthapuram.
Emerging from the first formal gathering since their emphatic victory in the Assembly elections announced on May 4, party leaders are focused on finalizing the Cabinet list. Discussions about ministerial assignments are still underway, but the UDF is intent on having a full Cabinet taking the oath alongside CM-designate V D Satheesan.
While Saturday will bring further meetings to cement the decisions, the UDF's inner circle remains optimistic about completing preparations for the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Monday morning at 10 am. The UDF's impressive win, capturing 102 out of 140 seats, sets a backdrop of anticipation as they prepare for governance.
