Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has issued a call to his party workers to be vigilant during the upcoming Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Speaking at a rally, Shinde emphasized the need to prevent fake voters, specifically citing Bangladeshis, from finding their way onto the voter lists.
The Shiv Sena head also urged adherence to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent appeal for reduced fuel consumption in light of the ongoing crisis in West Asia. Shinde underscored this as a matter of national interest, emphasizing the need for solidarity during challenging times.
In his capacity as Urban Development Minister, Shinde assured efforts to maintain Mumbai's status as the economic capital of India. He pledged that both the state government and BMC would work collaboratively to enhance the city's global standing.
