Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini led by example, reducing his convoy size by half and committing to one car-free day each week. Fellow ministers, including Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana, echoed this sentiment by limiting the use of government vehicles strictly for field visits.
In a push towards eco-friendly transportation, Transport Minister Anil Vij plans to procure 1,000 new buses, half of which will be electric, and advocates for tax concessions on electric vehicles. This collective initiative aims to conserve resources and protect the environment not just in Haryana but across the country.
