Tamil Nadu Minister for Public Works and Sports Development Adhav Arjuna on Wednesday extended an invitation to VCK and IUML to join the TVK government's cabinet.
He alleged that the DMK and AIADMK have tried to prevent the TVK party from forming a government by aligning with each other to come to power.
Stating that the Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay wants the cabinet to function as ''one family'', Arjuna hinted that the chief minister is also interested in having left parties in his cabinet.
Arjuna also explained that the AIADMK rebel group led by C Ve Shanmugam supported the TVK during the floor test with the aim of ''saving'' their party and not for ministerial berths.
