Goa Minister Vishwajit Rane on Friday announced that he would tour all Opposition-held constituencies to strengthen the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party organisation ahead of the 2027 state assembly elections.
Talking to reporters at Lok Bhavan, Rane said that the BJP is confident of forming the next government in the coastal state.
The minister said he would soon travel to all opposition-held constituencies to take forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.
The BJP and its allies currently hold 33 out of 40 assembly seats, while the Congress, Goa Forward Party and Revolutionary Goans Party hold the remaining seven.
Rane further said that he has appealed to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to fill all the 22,000 government job vacancies in the state to provide employment for the youth.
