President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to commence a three-day visit to Sikkim on May 26, officials said here on Saturday.
Murmu will land at the Libing Army helipad in the afternoon of May 26. From there, she will go to Lok Bhavan, and later visit Namgyal Institute of Tibetology at Deorali and Orchidarium at Ridge Park in Gangtok, they said.
In the morning of May 27, she will visit Nathula along the India-China border, and later attend the seventh convocation ceremony of Sikkim University, where she will confer degrees to the students of the 2023, 2024 and 2025 batches.
On May 28, the President will attend a parade of Sikkim Police at Paljor Stadium and leave the state the same day, the officials added.
