The Congress party will protest outside SDM offices across Rajasthan from May 23 to June 1 against rising fuel and cooking gas prices, alleged shortages of essential supplies and the NEET-2026 paper leak, a party leader said on Saturday.
The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) said, on the directions of President Govind Singh Dotasra, all block units have been directed to demonstrate and submit memorandums to the government through SDMs, highlighting public grievances.
RPCC general secretary and media chairperson Swarnim Chaturvedi alleged that the Centre's ''flawed economic and foreign policies'' have led to an increase in petrol, diesel and LPG prices, placing a heavy burden on common people.
He claimed that the supply of essential services such as cooking gas, fuel, electricity and drinking water is falling short of demand, making daily life difficult.
Chaturvedi alleged that the NEET-2026 paper leak jeopardised the future of lakhs of students.
He accused the central government of failing to safeguard the examination's integrity.
