Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday marked the State Formation Day with a poignant address, emphasizing that the people of Telangana have authored a new narrative by supporting a government truly representative of their aspirations. In his speech, Reddy celebrated the historic struggle that led to the state's creation, noting that it was driven by the values of self-respect, freedom, and social justice. He paid homage to those who fought against oppressive regimes, asserting that Telangana's rise is a victory over feudal and authoritarian forces.

The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings to the people on the emotionally significant occasion of June 2, a day to commemorate the sacrifices made during the lengthy struggle for statehood. Reddy recognized the martyrdom of several Telangana citizens and expressed his gratitude towards former leaders like Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi for their pivotal roles in realizing the dream of an independent Telangana. Describing his government as one by and for the people, he reiterated that their administration fulfills duties as servants of the public.

Reddy's address underlined the government's major policy thrusts, particularly the focus on agriculture under the 'Rythu Rajyam' vision. He detailed efforts to prioritize farming across Telangana and shared ambitious food production statistics, along with significant financial commitments to crop procurement. Women's empowerment also featured prominently, with the government facilitating economic advancement through substantial interest-free loans and varied welfare schemes. Reddy further highlighted Telangana's transparent approach to employment, substantial educational reform efforts, and ongoing irrigation projects to bolster water security for the state's farmers.
