Inferno Engulfs Chalakudy Paint Godown

A major fire raged through a paint godown in Chalakudy on Monday, sending thick black smoke into the skies over the densely populated area.

Prompt arrival of fire engines helped contain what could have been a more disastrous situation. Firefighters worked tirelessly to bring the flames under control.

As seen on TV, locals and laborers dashed into the fire-damaged structure in a bid to salvage paint supplies and other valuable items. According to local police, efforts are ongoing to fully extinguish the fire.
