In a shocking motor accident in southeast Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin area, a family, including an 18-month-old girl, sustained injuries after their motorcycle was reportedly hit by a speeding Audi car early Thursday morning, police reported.

The Audi's driver, identified as Rashit Kumar, aged 21, has been detained by law enforcement. Initial investigations revealed that the family, led by Parvaiz, a 29-year-old from Jamia Nagar, along with his wife and their daughter, were en route through Bhogal Chowk when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Authorities responded swiftly to a PCR call reporting the accident at 3:20 am, revealing a damaged motorcycle upon arrival. All injured were rushed to the AIIMS trauma centre. The incident led to the registration of a legal case under rash driving and endangering life sections, and further investigations are ongoing.
