On Monday, a fire erupted in an office within a six-storey building at Marine Lines, south Mumbai, according to officials.
The incident prompted immediate rescue efforts by the fire brigade and police at the Nilkanth Niranjan building. Thankfully, there were no reported casualties.
Six fire brigade vehicles swiftly responded to the scene, bringing the blaze under control in just half an hour. Though the plume of smoke originated from an office on the fifth floor, the cause of the fire has yet to be identified.
