Shubhanshu Shukla's Historic Space Journey: A New Era for India

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has made history by embarking on a space mission to the International Space Station (ISS) alongside three other astronauts. Their journey is part of a commercial mission launched by Axiom Space.
The Axiom-4 mission, initially delayed, departed from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida amidst global celebrations. The launch was live-streamed in Lucknow at Shukla's alma mater, City Montessori School, where his parents proudly watched.
With this mission, Shukla becomes the first Indian astronaut to travel to the ISS since Rakesh Sharma's iconic flight in 1984. The Axiom-4 mission marks a significant collaboration between India, Poland, and Hungary.
