Pema Khandu's Strategic Roadmap for Rural Connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu revealed significant infrastructure advancements under the state's Comprehensive Road Development Plan. This initiative focuses on enhancing connectivity in the state's remote regions, driven by local needs rather than national priorities.

Khandu emphasized the necessity of building roads where communities live, ensuring inclusive growth. With Rs 965.99 crore sanctioned, the initiative has completed 393.57 km of roads in challenging terrains, reflecting the state's improved financial health and commitment to inclusive development.

In concert with the Border Roads Organisation, discussions are ongoing to enhance last-mile connectivity, supporting both national security and rural economies in the region.
