Haryana Unveils Major Infrastructure Boost in Ambala
Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced a series of infrastructure development plans in Ambala, including water network expansion, a new treatment plant, and road repairs. Major projects were inaugurated and new ones planned, promising economic growth and employment opportunities through the development of Integrated Multi-Modal Townships.

In a significant push for development, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has rolled out a series of infrastructure initiatives in Ambala. The announcements were made during the Teej festival celebration in Ambala City.
The chief highlights include a Rs 145-crore expansion of the city's water distribution network and the establishment of a Rs 40-crore water treatment plant in Sector 24 with a capacity of 9 Megaliters per day. Along the Satluj Yamuna Link canal, Rs 60 crore will be allocated for repairing damaged sections.
Saini also laid the foundation for nine projects worth Rs 73 crore and announced a synthetic track at the sports stadium in Sector 10. Additionally, Rs 35 crore will be used to concrete sections of the Model Town drain, and Rs 5 crore will be funneled into rural development. The vision includes an Integrated Multi-Modal Township to spur industrial growth and job creation.
