In the aftermath of heavy rains, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the waterlogged ITO crossing to assess the situation and demand detailed reports from civic authorities on recurring flood-prone spots.
Gupta, addressing reporters, noted that waterlogged areas in the city, including the ITO and Zakhira underpass, witnessed quick drainage, improving within 30-45 minutes.
Despite swift responses, Gupta's administration faced criticism from the Aam Aadmi Party over handling the flood situations. The chief minister assures improvements and detailed action plans are underway to prevent future waterlogging woes.
