Tragedy Strikes: Student Killed by Reckless Bus in Meerut

In a heart-wrenching incident in Meerut, a second-year BA student lost her life after being hit by a speeding city bus on Friday morning. The victim, identified as 17-year-old Manisha Pal, was struck down at the Zeromile crossing while heading to college with her sister.

The bus driver, Arvind, has been apprehended by the police and the vehicle involved has been seized. The accident took place in the jurisdiction of the Lal Kurti police station area, where locals managed to catch the driver and hand him over to authorities.

This unfortunate event has stirred residents to voice concerns over the reckless driving by city bus drivers. Eyewitnesses allege that such negligent behavior is a common occurrence, leading to frequent accidents in the area.
