A leopard that recently attacked three individuals in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district was found dead inside a cattle shed. Authorities confirmed the animal succumbed to septicemia-induced cardiac arrest and respiratory failure.
District Magistrate Sanjay Chauhan reported the leopard's demise following a joint search operation initiated after the attacks on Baldev, Vijay Kumar, and Chhotelal. The elusive animal evaded capture before being discovered dead.
A team of veterinary experts conducted a post-mortem, revealing septicemia as the cause. The condition spreads infection leading to organ failure and ultimately, a heart attack. Samples have been sent for further analysis.
