Moldova has officially become the 107th member of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs on Monday. This move marks Moldova's commitment to advancing solar energy initiatives worldwide.
The International Solar Alliance, spearheaded by India and France during the 2015 COP21 summit in Paris, aims to revolutionize solar energy landscapes by unlocking large-scale investments by 2030 and minimizing technology costs.
The alliance, which promotes solar adoption in agriculture, health, transport, and power generation, involves member countries in setting common standards, enacting supportive policies, and sharing best practices. Moldova's ratification instrument was handed over at a meeting in New Delhi, demonstrating its dedication to the cause.
