Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has taken a significant step toward improving the state's infrastructure by laying the foundation stone for the Rs 350 crore Isarda-Dausa drinking water project in Lalsot constituency. This initiative aims to deliver clean drinking water to approximately 6.27 lakh residents of 302 villages and the town of Lalsot by 2027.
The project encompasses the construction of eight clear water reservoirs, five pump houses, and an extensive network of over 1,800 km of pipelines. Sharma drew a contrast with the previous Congress administration, claiming more achievements in 1.5 years than their five-year tenure, highlighting advancements in irrigation, electricity, and employment under his leadership.
Additionally, Sharma announced other development projects worth Rs 120 crore and a Rs 116 crore budget for infrastructure upgrades in Lalsot. Water Supply Minister Kanhaiya Lal criticized alleged corruption during the prior regime, and Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena assured compensation for rain-affected farmers.
