A wall collapse in Sheohar district injured six children on Wednesday, police confirmed. The accident happened in Masaurha village, falling under the jurisdiction of the Piprahi police station. According to police, the children, aged 5 to 7, were seated on the compound wall as they watched a monkey.
Locals claim the structure gave way under the children's weight. The quick response from villagers ensured the injured children were promptly taken to a local hospital where they are now reported to be out of danger.
'The matter is currently under investigation,' said Piprahi SHO Subodh Kumar Mahto during an interaction with reporters.
