Jamshedpur is gearing up for a significant infrastructure boost with the upcoming interstate bus terminal, promising modern transportation facilities. The state-of-the-art terminal will span 13 acres near Mango Dimna Chowk and will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 145.24 crore, according to official sources.

Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar has given the initial nod for the project, which will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company (JUIDCO) is in charge of the development, relying on a blueprint crafted by a Karnataka-based agency.

The terminal complex will be a five-storey structure complete with parking facilities for 300 cars, 350 bikes, and 23 alighting bus bays. In addition, it will house an air-conditioned waiting hall, passenger and driver dormitories, and various commercial amenities, all while showcasing Jharkhandi art and paintings.
