Traffic will be significantly restricted on the Tikri Border-Peeragarhi highway and within the Rohini area this Sunday. This measure is a response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inauguration of two major highway projects in the region, valued at nearly Rs 11,000 crore, according to the Delhi Traffic Police.

In a recent advisory, commuters have been urged to steer clear of Tikri Border-Peeragarhi and Rohini routes between 6 am and 2 pm, anticipating disruptions due to the event. The Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) will also remain off-limits on August 17, alongside sections of Rohtak Road and connecting streets.

Commercial vehicles face strict access limitations on these stretch routes, with divergences proposed at key points. Commuters are encouraged to explore alternate pathways or consider metro travel for convenience during project inaugurations set to enhance regional connectivity.
