Sulawesi Shaken: 6.0 Earthquake Injures Dozens

A powerful 6.0 magnitude earthquake rattled central Sulawesi, Indonesia, early Sunday, leaving 29 people injured, including two critically, according to the country's disaster mitigation agency, BNPB.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the Poso Regency, creating tremors that were felt throughout the neighboring areas but no fatalities have been reported.

Indonesia is vulnerable to frequent seismic activities due to its position on the Pacific Ring of Fire, a volatile area of seismic and volcanic activity.
