Rescue efforts have been underway since the accident, with over 700 rescuers deployed to the site in a race against time to find the missing individuals. As of Sunday evening, one person has been rescued, while nine others have been officially declared dead, according to the city's emergency management office.
The Ministry of Emergency Management has initiated intensive operations to locate the missing and dispatched a work team to supervise the rescue efforts. In light of the tragedy, the ministry has issued a warning to travelers against visiting undeveloped wilderness areas and urged them to remain vigilant in flood-prone regions during the flood season.
