While returning from the Kailash Yatra, Gaurav from Uttar Pradesh was fatally injured near Ganesh Gufa. His body was later recovered and handed to his family after post-mortem in Reckongpeo.

A wave of destruction swept through Shastri Nagar in Kullu, damaging homes and vehicles amid flash floods. The State Emergency Operation Centre reported closures of 368 roads, including significant highways. Meteorological warnings continue, as the region braces for further heavy rainfall.
