The city's educational institutions resumed operations, and transport services, including trains and buses, returned to normalcy. Despite the India Meteorological Department's yellow alert, which signaled moderate rainfall until August 25, no major disruptions were reported.
The recent deluge had submerged large parts of the city, forcing hundreds into rescue operations. Meanwhile, a viral video showed water inundating actor Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow in Juhu. The state's Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, reassured citizens that the situation is now under control.
