A tragic accident claimed the lives of a father and his three-year-old daughter in Bhiwandi, Thane. The incident occurred around noon in Padgha area while the family was heading to a doctor for the ailing child.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police Anmol Mittal, the father, Saheem Maqbool Khot, lost control while attempting to navigate between a container truck and an autorickshaw, leading to the fatal collision.
The crash resulted in instant death for Khot, while his daughter succumbed to injuries shortly thereafter. His wife, though surviving the crash, remains in critical condition at a Thane hospital. The family was reportedly seeking medical attention for the child at the time of the accident.
