Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to make a significant impact in Gujarat with the 'Samudra se Samriddhi' event, where he will introduce a slew of development projects worth over Rs 34,200 crore. At the heart of these initiatives are multiple endeavors in the maritime sector, with investments topping Rs 7,870 crore.
During his visit, PM Modi will conduct an aerial survey of the Dholera Special Investment Region, designed as a futuristic greenfield industrial hub. The Prime Minister will also assess the progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal, a project valued at Rs 4,500 crore aimed at celebrating India's rich maritime history.
In addition to maritime enhancements, the initiatives include extensive infrastructure developments such as the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal, a new container terminal at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Kolkata, and several solar energy projects.
