Infrastructure Revamp: A New Dawn for Navi Mumbai's Villages

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed officials to make infrastructure development a top priority for 14 villages recently integrated into the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation limits.
Speaking at a meeting, Shinde underscored the need to expedite the transfer of administrative responsibilities relating to these areas. The 2025-26 budget allocates Rs 19.70 crore for enhancements in schools, health centers, and essential services like water and roadways.
To further the area's growth, Shinde advocated for the establishment of a hospital in Navali and the beautification of a lake in Vaklan. Key officials such as NMMC Commissioner Kailas Shinde and Additional Chief Secretary Govindraj attended the meeting.
