Karnataka's Infrastructure Crisis under Congress: BJP's Critique

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Karnataka, claiming that the state's infrastructure issues continue to deteriorate. At a Saturday press conference, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla argued that the Congress administration has prioritized self-interest over citizen welfare.

Poonawalla pointed out that companies like BlackBuck are being driven to leave Bengaluru, a major tech hub, due to inadequate road conditions. He accused the Congress government of imposing what he described as a 'death tax' by failing to allocate resources effectively to repair and maintain vital infrastructure.

The BJP spokesperson further alleged that the Congress leadership is embroiled in corruption scandals and negligence, with funds being siphoned off to Delhi leaders. As a result, citizens are left grappling with inflation and rising costs of essential goods, he claimed.
