Himachal Pradesh Snowfall and Rain Bring Weather Warnings
Himachal Pradesh witnessed a cold spell with snowfall continuing in higher areas for the second consecutive day, coupled with rains across various parts of the state. An orange warning has been issued for heavy rains and thunderstorms in select districts, while a yellow warning is in place for isolated thunderstorms.

Snowfall persisted in the higher elevations of Himachal Pradesh for a second straight day, plunging temperatures further, as reported by officials on Monday.
The regions of Gondhla and Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district saw snow accumulations of 5 cm and 4 cm, respectively. Various other parts of the state, including Guler, Nagrota Suriyan, and Bharwain, experienced significant rainfall since Sunday evening.
Thunderstorms with gusty winds reached speeds between 41 and 57 km/h in multiple locations. The meteorological department issued an orange warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in four districts and a yellow warning for isolated thunderstorms on Tuesday.
