Court Orders Expansion and Ventilation for Ranchi Public Toilets

The Jharkhand High Court has mandated the Ranchi Municipal Corporation to significantly increase the size of public lavatories, addressing a pressing urban issue.

In its directive, the court emphasized the necessity of adequate ventilation within these facilities, a concern raised following a news report highlighting the lack of public toilets at Khadgarha Bus Stand.

Responding to the court's directive, the corporation is making efforts to improve its facilities and has also provided a complaint number for cleanliness-related issues.
