In a heartbreaking incident in Uttar Pradesh, three family members were killed when a construction accident led to fatal electrocution. The incident unfolded early Wednesday morning in the Premnagar area, as Praveen Sahu, 27, aimed to carry out building work on his home's roof.

The catastrophe occurred when an iron rod Sahu was maneuvering accidentally struck a high-tension wire, delivering a lethal voltage. Attempting to rescue him, his mother, Ranjana Sahu, 50, and grandmother, Vimla Sahu, 75, were also critically injured, sustaining severe burns.

All three were transported to a hospital but succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Local law enforcement, headed by Senior Superintendent of Police B B G T S Murthy, was promptly on the scene, providing support and assistance to the grieving family.
