In an alarming update from the meteorological department, several parts of Haryana witnessed temperatures soar beyond typical norms on Monday.
Narnaul emerged as Haryana's hottest spot, recording a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius, nearly five degrees above what is considered normal.
The heatwave was not confined to Haryana. Neighboring Punjab also reported elevated temperatures, with Bathinda peaking at 41 degrees Celsius, indicating widespread weather anomalies in the region.
