The Ganga Expressway, a transformative infrastructure initiative in Uttar Pradesh, is nearing its completion with an inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled for April 29. Valued at approximately Rs 37,000 crore, the project extends over 594 kilometers, divided into four major packages for expedited construction.
This segmented approach allowed for concurrent work by different agencies, facilitating rapid progress. The expressway not only serves as a transport facility but is envisioned as an economic corridor, enhancing industrial growth through integrated clusters.
By significantly reducing travel time and logistics costs, the expressway will improve industrial connectivity and spawn new investment opportunities, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a pivotal industrial and logistics hub in India.
