Its epicentre was located at latitude 19.729 degrees North and longitude 82.599 degrees East, at a depth of 24 kilometres beneath the Earth's surface. The quake was felt for a few seconds at Dharmagada, Junagarh, Koksara, Thuamul Rampur and Bhawanipatna blocks of the district. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property from the affected areas, officials said.
