In a shocking turn of events, a pharmaceutical plant in Telangana's Nalgonda district witnessed a reactor explosion on Friday, resulting in injuries for six employees. According to police sources, the mishap occurred at a plant near Chityal.
The explosion, attributed to excessive pressure, took place while eight people were at work. Out of them, five suffered burns ranging between 10-15 percent. Fortunately, two individuals emerged without any injuries.
Local law enforcement confirmed that the injured are receiving medical attention at a local hospital. Authorities are investigating the incident to ascertain further details.
