The rising mercury levels in Madhya Pradesh are causing significant discomfort to its residents, with nights no longer offering relief from the intense heat. In Indore, traditionally celebrated for its cool nights, temperatures have surged to 30.2 degrees Celsius, disturbing sleep and daily routines for many.
The Meteorological Department notes that minimum temperatures across several parts of the state have exceeded 28 degrees Celsius in recent days. This unexpected rise is significantly altering lifestyles, with health experts citing increased cases of sleeplessness and related issues as a direct consequence.
Dr. Ravi Dosi, a pulmonologist, has reported a spike in health complaints due to the high night temperatures. Issues like poor sleep, allergies, fatigue, and irregular eating habits are becoming more common, significantly affecting the quality of life as these trends continue.
