Kazakhstan's Nuclear Power Expansion: A Collaborative Venture

The Russian state nuclear corporation has expressed interest in engaging in talks to join the project for constructing a second nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan, as highlighted by Rosatom's chief, Alexei Likhachev.

During President Vladimir Putin's visit to Kazakhstan this week, he will preside over the signing of an agreement delineating the construction parameters for Kazakhstan's inaugural nuclear facility, as announced by the Kremlin.

Kazakhstan has already authorized the development of its second nuclear site, with the China National Nuclear Corporation selected as the leading constructor for the project.
