PCB Considers Mini Draft Amid Overseas Player Dilemma in PSL

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is deliberating a mini replacement draft for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as franchises encounter hurdles in securing overseas players' return post the recent India-Pakistan military conflict.

Initially planning to relocate the PSL to UAE, the PCB abandoned the idea amid rising border tensions. The league, scheduled to conclude between May 17-25, awaits a full schedule release.

While some franchises, excluding Multan Sultans, strive to coax their foreign players back due to playoff potentials, options like playing without foreign players or using a maximum of four remain. Karachi Kings have successfully persuaded captain David Warner and two Australian players to return.
