Pedaling for Change: Cyclothon Against Drug Abuse Ignites Visakhapatnam

In a powerful demonstration of unity and resistance against drug abuse, the Narcotics Control Bureau, alongside EAGLE Visakhapatnam and Decathlon, hosted a Cyclothon in Visakhapatnam today. The event, part of the ongoing 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Pakhwada' campaign, coincides with the United Nations' observation of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, held annually on June 26.
Flagged off by Chief Guest Pankaj Kumar Dwivedi, the Cyclothon saw active coordination from officials like Rajan Kumar, Superintendent of NCB Visakhapatnam, and EAGLE Inspectors S Ramesh and Mrs. Kalyani. The initiative drew enthusiastic participation from various stakeholders, including the EAGLE Anti-Narcotics Task Force and State Bank of India, Siripuram Branch.
With over 100 cyclists traversing designated city routes, the event not only raised awareness but also spread the resonant message, 'Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs.' The Cyclothon underscored the commitment of the NCB and ANTF to engage the community in drug prevention through public awareness and cooperative action.
