Rising Stars Shine: India's New Olympic Hopefuls Get Boost

In a strategic move by the Sports Ministry, Indian athletes Tejaswin Shankar and Animesh Kujur have been included in the Target Olympic Podium Scheme's developmental group, highlighting their potential as future Olympic medalists.
Shankar, who won a silver in the decathlon at the Asian Championships, has become a beacon of hope for the nation, showcasing his exceptional skill in South Korea. Alongside him, Kujur achieved a national record in the 200m sprint, earning his first international bronze medal.
