Woody Johnson's Bold Move into Premier League

New York Jets co-owner Robert Wood "Woody" Johnson has taken a significant step into English football by signing a binding agreement to acquire Eagle Football Holding's stake in Crystal Palace.

This deal, announced by the Premier League club on Monday, adds another dimension to Johnson's sports ownership credentials.

The transaction is subject to approval from both the Premier League and the Women's Super League. Once finalized, Johnson will join Crystal Palace as a partner and director, alongside his roles as an NFL team co-owner and a former U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom.
